prgainfo -- Participatory Research and Gender Analysis for Technology Development

About prgainfo
English (USA)

Welcome to PRGAInfo, a listserve which communicates information about the
CGIAR System-wide Program on Participatory Research and Gender Analysis
(PRGA), and other information about the field of participatory research such
as workshops, trainings, grant opportunities, job openings, and news and
literature on participatory research and gender.

The objective of the PRGA Program is to assess and develop methodologies and
organizational innovations for gender-sensitive participatory research and
to promote their use in plant breeding and in crop and natural resource
management. This is achieved through capacity building and collaborative
research to disseminate good practice methodologies and organizational
innovations for gender-sensitive participatory research in the CGIAR
Centers, NARS and other research partners. The Program operationalizes the
use of participatory approaches, methodologies and organizational
innovations in plant breeding and crop, livestock and natural resource
management through three main areas: organizational innovation and
partnership; collaborative empirical studies; capacity building and
information dissemination.

For more information on the PRGA Program, please consult our website:
