Welcome to SINGER Tech List !

SINGER-T (SINGER Technical List) is an e-mail list server which
broadcasts messages from the SINGER technical focal points. Its goal is to
facilitate communication among SINGER members.

SINGER-T is primarily concerned with the re-inforcement of the SINGER
delivery mechanism and the implementation of technical tools to promote the dissemination of information through the WWW
and CD-ROM.

SINGER-T can be used by all members:

(i) to share information and technical advise on the replication
process;

(ii) to implement standards agreed by the SINGER Focal Points;

(iii) to inform the members on the latest technical implementations and
solutions;

(iv) to function as a forum for the exchange of questions and answers,
discussions and brainstorming about issues related to SINGER;

(v) to discuss the implementation of the SGRP tool kit and its use by
members.

Sending mail to all subscribers can be done easily by sending it
to the SINGER-T e-mail address: singer-t@lists.cgiar.org

PLEASE NOTE: You cannot use the "reply-to" function to reply to the
list. The return path "SINGER-T-postmaster" routes messages to the
CGNET postmaster, not to the list. To send a message to the list,
you will need to manually enter the e-mail address singer-t@lists.cgiar.org

All members are encouraged to introduce themselves to the other
subscribers by sending as their first message to INMAREN their name,
their occupation, the organization they are affiliated with, and their
interests.

Anyone wanting to subscribe to the network should contact Milko Skofic
or Samy Gaiji at the International Plant Genetic Resources Insititute,
or singer-t-owner@lists.cgiar.org.

If you would like to terminate your subscription, send e-mail to
singer-t-leave@lists.cgiar.org

or contact Milko Skofic & Samy Gaiji.

Best Regards
