Welcome to TwT network. A listserve developed in follow up to the TwT in Southern Africa course which took place January 25th-30st, 2004, In Vumba, Zimbabwe. Participants included lecturerers from teacher training colleges, curriculum developers, primary school teachers and facilitators of natural resource management education from Zimbabwe, Malawi, Zambia and Tanzania.

TWTN can be used by all members:

(i) to update members on recent activities or progress in individual TwT development;

(ii) to announce meetings, seminars, and conferences on environmental education and teaching with trees that may be of interest to other subscribers;

(iii) to inform subscribers of new publications, articles or references;

(v) to function as a forum for the exchange of questions and answers,
discussions and brainstorming about issues related curriculum development, agroforestry and natural resource management research and training materials;

Sending mail to all subscribers can be done easily by sending it

PLEASE NOTE: You cannot use the "reply-to" function to reply to the list. The return path "ESDN-postmaster" routes messages to the CGNET postmaster, not to the list. To send a message to the list, you will need to manually enter the e-mail address twtn@lists.cgiar.org


All members are encouraged to introduce themselves to the other subscribers by sending as their first message to TWTN their name, their occupation, the organization they are affiliated with, and their interest in education for sustainable development.

Subscribe to twtn by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members.

    You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
